The Virtual Center for Decadal Climate Variability
DecVar.org is an online, scientific community created and administered by
CRCES. The purpose of this community is to deliver data and information to,
and facilitate collaborative research among scientific users within the field
of decade-to-century scale variability. DecVar consists of a series of web-based
components designed to achieve this purpose. These components include:
Fully-interactive discussion rooms with private discussion and file-sharing
facilities
Fully-interactive bulletin boards
A collaborative research area where scientists can gather, place, and
analyse research materials, and create and edit scientific documents
E-mail addresses and paging facilities to contact other members
Submission and online review of abstracts for meetings announced on
DecVar
Access to many full text journal articles on decadal climate variability
A repository of presentations made in workshops on decadal climate variability
